Activities:

Supports the management of the NCIPD in ensuring the lawful use of financial resources, while applying the principles of accountability and responsibility, economy and transparency. Participates in the process of managing the Center's budget funds and monitors compliance with financial and budgetary discipline.

  1. Performs accounting activities in compliance with the principles of legality, good financial management and transparency, reliability and comprehensiveness of financial and operational information;
  2. Responsible for the complete, true, accurate and timely accounting of all business transactions;
  3. Receives, checks and prepares documents related to financial accounting activities, processing and accounting them in the relevant accounts;
  4. Responsible for the accounts management for funds received from national and/or external financial sources for the implementation of scientific projects and/or national/international programs;
  5. Responsible for carrying out inventories in the NCIPD and reviewing the valuation of non-financial assets in the Center, in order to present the information in the financial report truthfully and accurately;
  6. Closes accounts and registers at the end of the accounting period;
  7. Performs financial accountability, adhering to the principles of current accrual, priority of content over form and independence of individual reporting periods and value relationship between opening and closing balance;
  8. Coordinates and interacts with all departments in the National Centre of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases;
